RuAbout the Airport

Simferopol International Airport is located next to Ukromnoye village, 16 km away from the center of Simferopol city.

The airport is among the top ten leading Russian airports based on the passenger flow that reached 5.1 million people in 2017.

During the spring-summer period flights from Simferopol Airport are carried out in 67 directions — to south, north, west and east of Russia, to Siberia and the Urals.

A new airport terminal, designed by one of the leading South Korean architecture and engineering firm, was opened in the spring of 2018. Designers used the image of the sea recreating the “Crimean wave”. That is why the terminal building is not consistent in height. It changes between 25 and 35 meters at different points. Two facades, both from landside and airside, are curved in all directions.

New terminal of Simferopol International Airport is designed to meet all needs of passengers and is equipped with hi-end airport equipment.

The concept of barrier-free environment is applied both in the air terminal building and landside.
